About Mighty Mamas
Welcome to Mighty Mamas Doula Services!
My name is Colleen Smith and I am a birth doula and owner of Mighty Mamas Doula Services. I have been practicing in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas since 2018.
However you envision your birth taking place, I would love to support you in making that a reality! Labor and birth can be fickle and plans can change, but I will be there to help you understand your options and make the choice that is right for you and your partner. I will also help to create a comfortable environment and provide emotional and hands on support throughout labor and birth for you and for partners too.
With the unpredictability that comes with labor and birth, it is so important to know all you can about your options as a parent. As your doula, I can answer any questions you may have and provide you with resources about many aspects of pregnancy, birth, and starting life with a newborn.

My Services
Prenatal Support
I will meet with you multiple times throughout your pregnancy to help answer questions, provide resources, and help you prepare for birth and baby.
Labor and Birth
From early labor until first latch, I will be there to provide hands on and emotional support. I will also provide knowledge of your options when changes in plans arise to help you make the decisions right for you and baby.
Postpartum Support
I will come visit you at your home after baby is born to check in on everyone. We will get a chance to talk about your birth experience and I can also answer any questions you have in regards to your newborn.
